I am an experienced Family and Systemic Psychotherapist offering online and in person therapy to individuals, couples and families. I have worked with children, adults and families for over 30 years in CAMHS and Social Care. Many of us face challenges at different times in our lives and want to make changes in our relationship with others and with ourselves. Many people have experienced trauma in their lives.
Trauma can be stored in the body and triggered at a later stage, often leading to distress. I am trained in safe, gentle and effective methods for treating trauma that can help you move forward and feel less burdened by past events and experiences.
Therapy offers a safe space to express our emotions and be heard, maybe for the first time. It can help you work out what you want to change and steps you can take towards more fulfilling relationships. Therapy will help you to build on your strengths.
