Families, couples and individuals come to me with relational issues of any kind. I work with all ages, short-term and long-term. I am a UKCP accredited family and systemic psychotherapist and an accredited person-centred counsellor. I have 29 years experience of providing counselling and psychotherapy in the NHS, schools, voluntary sector and private practice, and 9 years experience in Children and Adolescents Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I also have 29 years experience of working with people with an autism spectrum disorder/ condition (ASD/ ASC), providing autism assessments and therapy (ABA; counselling and family therapy).
I specialise in relational therapy. I offer systemic psychotherapy, supervision and teaching. Regular psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes. I also offer Single Session Therapy (SST). One session of SST lasts for 80 minutes and may be enough for some people, but if it is not, you can have more sessions, the choice is yours.
I welcome you with any issue you may want to bring. I do not judge or take sides, I am multipartial. I will help you communicate with each other in a way that is safe and enables you to resolve your difficulties. If you come on your own, we will hold in mind the important people in your life, even if your difficulties are existential rather than relational.
