Hi there. Integrative therapist with many years experience. Working with ages 14+. Offering variable hours. Working in Chester, Heswall and online. Special interest and further training in Anxiety, OCD and all forms of childhood abuse/trauma. I’m committed to creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. I will be alongside you on your journey and together will explore what has been going on in your life and look at the bits you are not happy with. I will support you as you pick up new skills or adapt ones that you already had to find a way forward that feels better for you.
I work using an integrative approach as I am a great believer one size rarely fits all. This involves using varying amounts of psychodynamic, person-centred and CBT. I'm trained to use the survivor to thriver programme for childhood abuse and have further training in ERP, eating disorders, gender identity, neurodivergence and trauma focussed CBT.
People look for counselling at different times of their lives and for different reasons and I understand how difficult it can feel to reach out especially when life feels hard. I will do my utmost to put you at ease and make the whole process as easy as I can for you. We will work at your pace and have regular reviews to ensure the process is working for you
