As a registered counsellor and certified play therapist, I can offer therapy across the ages, indoors, outdoors or online. I have CPD and experience in working with parents or carers and children, so can offer an informed service for attachment enhancement through play and talking therapy. I am also qualified and experienced as a supervisor, so can offer supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and play therapists. My theoretical approach is based in being person-centred, and informed about trauma, attachment, diversity including neurodiversity, child development, parenting, neuroscience, psychoeducation, and dissociation.
I specialise in childhood issues, the inner child for adults and exploring what you feel is a more real sense of yourself. My work aims to support improving your relationships, with yourself, others and help with transitioning between different phases of your life. I have experience of working with survivors of sexual, physical, emotional abuse, and neglect.
If you would like to work creatively, in addition to talking therapy, with creative counselling or play therapy, or just talk, the option is yours. With the now historic pandemic of Covid-19 adding to our emotion stress levels in some ways, I offer talking therapy, creative work and supervision online or face-to-face, with some neurodiversity insights.
