Hi. My name is Anna and I am a Humanistic counsellor. This means I work in a way that aims to see your world through your eyes and create a safe, non-judgemental space in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings. This may enable you to understand yourself better by building awareness of the way you relate to yourself and others in the world. In this way, the possibility for change and choice can become more apparent. I will work with you at your pace and encourage you to bring to sessions what you feel you need to explore.
Whatever your reason for seeking counselling, my aim is to walk alongside you on your journey.
My belief is that past experiences impact on the way we are in the present. Exploring beliefs and messages from the past can give us insight that will enable us the freedom to change aspects of ourselves or patterns of relating that are not serving us any more.
In the course of my practice I have worked with people suffering with a range of challenges. My aim is to work with each person as a unique individual so I encourage you to come with whatever you want to explore.
