Starting this process can feel daunting: the first step is for us to meet each other. I warmly welcome individuals and couples of all ages 18+, cultural and class backgrounds, and diverse sexuality, relationship and kinship orientations, to email me for a free initial phone consultation to discuss what you need and how I can support you. Psychotherapy is a wonderful opportunity to develop relational self-awareness and explore your experience, as well as a tool to engage with difficulty and distress in your life. By helping you to understand and illuminate your feelings and experiences, we begin a process of discovery and awareness.
In turn, this process expands the possibilities of how you live, relate, and make choices. This can include exploring issues such as anxiety, low mood, anger, grief and loss, stress, trauma, sexuality, relationships, life transitions, identity, existential questions, identity, communication, personal agency, and blocks to creativity.
I offer a process-based, holistic, embodied perspective, as an alternative to mainstream, normative models of mental health. I see each meeting in therapy as an opportunity to co-construct a trusting, respectful, attuned relationship, forming a here-and-now basis to explore your immediate concerns, as well as what emerges along the way.
