Hi! I'm Anna, a qualified counsellor based in Stockport offering face-to-face and online sessions.
I can offer you a space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement or pressure. I draw upon various counselling models to tailor my approach to you as an individual; there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
Our brains all work in different ways and I think it is so important that counselling reflects this. I am able to incorporate different resources like co-operative board games, video games and other creative approaches to enhance sessions for those who want to.
I've worked with people from a range of backgrounds, religions, identities and lifestyles. Using my individualised approach, I've supported domestic abuse survivors, members of the LGBT+ community, people who want to understand their neurodivergence and an array of other individuals. Everybody deserves a space to explore themselves free from judgement.
I offer a free 30 minute session over the telephone or online so that you can get a sense of who I am and how we can work together. It is an opportunity for us to talk about what areas you are struggling with at the moment or want to explore. It is also a chance to ask me any questions about myself and my approach or about counselling in general.
