About
You will have your own, deeply personal reasons for seeking therapy. The process of therapy can support you to explore and shift difficult feelings such as anxiety or low mood; the impact of trauma, abuse or neglect; or difficult relationship patterns. By creating a safe and challenging environment, and a strong therapeutic relationship, we can work together to shift difficult feelings and relationship patterns. This will allow you to explore new ways of relating to yourself and others. I am also particularly interested in issues of diversity and access to therapy, and therefore offer lower fees where appropriate.
As an integrative psychotherapist I draw from various techniques and research, particularly the psychodynamic tradition, attachment theory and relational neuroscience. My way of working is particularly suited to those wanting to make changes in their relationship patterns. For over 8 years I have practiced in private settings, the charity sector and the NHS.
No two clients or therapists are the same. It’s important you find someone you feel comfortable speaking to and who you feel can support you towards your goals. I therefore offer a free initial phone consultation to see if we could work well together. Alternatively, feel free to email me with any questions.
