I often see people who have been wondering about particular issues for a while - perhaps mood or anxiety issues, relationship problems, or 'diagnoses' such as AD?HD, addiction, eating disorders or trauma. You may have had therapy before, and found it helpful, but that something was missing, and you would like to try something more comprehensive, deeper and more complex this time.
Often, my clients have spotted certain patterns they keep engaging in, and want to work to understand themselves better, to develop their own identity - who they are and what they really want in life, and what stops them from getting there.
I am Doctor of Counselling Psychology (HCPC) and an Integrative Therapist (UKCP), working in the NHS and privately. I treat anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addictions, AD?HD, relationship problems and trauma with CBT and Schema Therapy. I work psychodynamically, exploring the origin of problems from childhood, reaching holistic solutions.
