I work with people who are struggling to manage a range of issues - including anxiety, stress, depression, phobias, OCD, grief, trauma, relationship issues, bi-polar disorder, hoarding issues. I offer a non-judgemental, warm, safe space to think about the main issue troubling you at the moment, how it may be effecting your mood, your relationships, your day to day activities. We will also think about strengths you have and how you can build on these to develop more useful and helpful coping strategies.
I have over 16 years experience working with adults in the NHS and independent practise. Working with people struggling with a range of mental health issues - I draw on evidence from the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) using therapy such as CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and EMDR.
After you contact me, we can arrange a free 15 minute phone consultation, to see if I am the right therapist for you. Then we can meet for an initial assessment session in my offices based in Leatherhead town centre. Sessions are usually an hour long and after our first session we can plan how many we may need.
