I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist based in London, with experience in a wide variety of settings, including the NHS, third sector, and private organisations. My areas of expertise are trauma, mood, and affective and relational difficulties, and I have worked in specialist services in these areas for over 10 years. I work from an integrative perspective, and adapt my work to the experiences and needs of each client. I have a special interest in critical approaches to mental health; linguistically sensitive services; and working with different forms of expression, including the body, objects, music, or art.
The relationship I establish with each client is extremely important, as well as the shared understanding of the development and factors that influence their present difficulties. I draw from different approaches-Schema,Psychodynamic, Humanist,MBT, TFP- and bring my clinical and up-to date knowledge to provide effective and tailored therapy for each client.
Throughout my experience I have witnessed human strength and the difficulties and struggles clients undergo while dealing with pain and life-changing experiences.
