I am a warm and passionate psychotherapist, with a decade of experience in the field. I am deeply committed to helping my clients escape the grip of depression and heal from past trauma. My main interest is in alleviating human suffering and making life more bearable for people.
I have a particular personal interest in depression. It's a privilege to be involved in my clients’ recovery and development. Clients say they can feel me walking alongside them when exploring painful experiences and that our therapy has helped them change their lives for the better.
My training is in Transactional Analysis which is an integrative approach. This means I can tailor the therapy for you as an individual. We might work at a cognitive behavioural level to work on unhelpful thoughts and behaviours you want to change, or deeply explore your childhood relationships. It depends what is best for you, and we decide together.
I believe that the most important thing for healing, growth and successful therapy is the relationship between us as therapist and client. It can be really daunting to meet a therapist for the first time. My job is to put you at ease, to be real and human and meet you where you are in life.
