I am an integrative and trauma informed counsellor based in Chichester West Sussex. I work therapeutically with children, young people and adults in a gentle, empathic and warm way. Fundamental to my approach is the belief that we all have the potential to change, develop and lead more satisfying lives. Play Therapy, especially non-directive play therapy is helpful for children, because it allows them to express themselves freely and without pressure to talk. I offer children a safe space which is non-judgemental and gives them opportunity to explore their emotions safely and gently through play.
There can be times in our lives when it’s hard to make sense of how we are feeling. Having a space to be able to talk through painful issues in a safe environment helps to bring clarity and understanding to the causes as well as the symptoms of those problems and can lead you to a deeper understanding of yourself.
