Are there issues in your life, past or present, that you haven't addressed. Are these issues preventing you from moving forward in your life, relationship or work. I am a trained Counsellor with eleven years experience. it is a requirement to undergo our own individual therapy when training therefore I am very aware that one of the most important decisions, in choosing a therapist, is to be able to connect with them. I am also aware, having been on the other side of the room how difficult it can be to open up our lives, past and present, to a stranger. Reaching out for help at a difficult time in our lives is not easy.
I specialise in early childhood trauma, unaddressed childhood issues and raising self esteem and confidence. As these issues very often impact on relationships of all kinds, I also specialise in Relationship and family therapy.
How to open up on your first session? My role is to create an environment that you feel comfortable in to open up about your issues. Together, we will then decide how you would like us to work together on these issues, these are your sessions, in a safe place where you can open up and be yourself without fear of judgement. I'm happy to make home visits.
