I am Ann McCarthy and I am a UKCP registered Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. I am a member of CPJA (Council for Psychoanalytic and Jungian Analysts) and a trained Clinical Supervisor (Guild of Psychotherapists). I provide Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment, on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period. Our work together will focus on identifying, better understanding and working through the issues that are impacting negatively on your life so you are able to develop positive changes within yourself and in your ways of relating with others.
I have experience of working in a number of different settings and so have extensive experience of many different and varied reasons why clients wish to come to therapy. Whatever brings you to therapy, we will work together to help you gain insight and to facilitate the changes you hope to make for yourself and in your relationships, and life in general.
