Hello, I understand just how difficult the first step to seeking help can feel. I offer an initial free 15 minute chat to help you with the initial process - it can be incredibly daunting! My aim is support you on your journey to find clarity and peace. I provide a warm, non-judgemental and empathic relationship based upon trust and sensitivity, to help you explore your worries, fears and difficulties so that you may feel equipped to face life with renewed energy and self-compassion. In the wise words of Yalom, regardless of style of therapy, "It's the relationship that heals, the relationship that heals..."
I have lots of life experience and professional experience - I have a BA in Integrative Counselling (1st) and am BACP Accredited. 'One size does not fit all' in therapy - it is not prescriptive and therefore I aim to understand you and in doing so I can then draw upon different styles of therapy to help you overcome the difficulties that you may be facing.
It is important to me that you feel at ease, heard and understood. I offer a reduced fee initial session (£35) to help you decide whether you feel comfortable to work with me. I also review our work together regularly as it is important for me to know whether you are finding the sessions helpful and we are discussing what is important to you.
