Hi, I'm Anita (MBACP), a qualified Counsellor, supporting adults experiencing emotional and psychological distress. Offering a confidential space for you to be able to feel safe, while being accepted, listened to, understood and in a psychological connection.

Person-Centred Counselling, is non-directive and allows freedom to explore your own choices, gaining a sense of autonomy and attuning to your gut instinct. This approach encourages self-esteem and self-worth, through empowerent.
I am interested in supporting people to be able to live a life to their best potential.
My skills have developed through ongoing awareness of the Polyvagal Theory of the Autonomic Nervous System, (ANS) which explores the automatic reactions to stressful or threatening environments. I can offer psycho-education for an understanding of how trauma impacts the nervous system and how to shift states, to provide a choice of responses.
You are not alone and can find support to help you to understand yourself and move forward to start living your life. Valuing your worth and gaining self-confidence in your ability to choose what options and responses are best for you.
