About
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor working with adults, children and young people. I offer a warm, listening enviroment for you to gain awareness around your problems and make the necessary changes for your own wellbeing.. My specialist area is working with young people 11-18, children 7-11 and Canine Therapy, having practised as a school counsellor for many years. I also provide counselling to school staff, such as teachers and teaching assistants. When working with children and young people, I encourage parents and carers to be involved as much as possible, whilst respecting the confidentiality and autonomy of your child.
By using creative play therapy techniques alongside talking therapy to assist with positive future life choices and emotional development.I work from a person-centred approach offered by the way of talking therapy with an experiential and integrative approach. The choice of using these experiential and other integrative ways of working always your choice
I offer a confidential place for you to talk without judgement and be the real you. For me the most important aspect of counselling is the relationship with the person sitting opposite me. By being open, accepting and honest in the relationship between us, it gives you the choice to create the life you want and be the person you want to be.
