Many people come to see me after having tried more structured therapies like CBT wanting something deeper that gets to the root of their difficulties. Rather than offering tools and coping strategies, I help you work through the emotional and relational patterns beneath your struggles which leads to lasting change through deepening self-understanding.
I don’t see the difficulties you face as problems to eliminate, but as meaningful expressions of something within you-signposts that, when explored with curiosity, can lead to understanding and lasting change. This is reflective, exploratory work that unfolds over time in regular sessions. It can be a gradual process, but one that is deeply transformative.
