Thanks for stopping at my profile. I'm a qualified Psychotherapist & member of the BACP, UKCP & EMDR Association UK, based in Hove, Worthing & Haywards Heath (and online). I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental & empathic stance, and challenge where appropriate. My role is to help you understand the issues you bring to therapy, including your past experiences, determining patterns that haven't served you well & the reasons behind your distress. I assist you in altering unhelpful patterns to alleviate your emotional pain & work towards making the life changes that you want, while gaining more positive experiences of the world.
I have experience working with a wide range of issues, incl. (though not limited to) Borderline Personality Disorder/EID/EUPD, Trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, Anxiety, depression & mood disorders, relationship issues, attachment difficulties, childhood issues/trauma, sexual & domestic abuse. I also offer coping strategies for short-term relief, alongside psychotherapy.
My approach to therapy is through linking & exploring how your past experiences influence your current thoughts, emotions & behaviours - and how you can alter these to serve you better, improving your general wellbeing & personal relationships. Therapy is not a "one-size-fits-all" experience, so every client requires a different approach.
