Hi, I'm Peter, a counsellor, mindfulness teacher and supervisor. I work exclusively online with the aim of offering affordable therapy to clients from the comfort of their own home. I combine person-centred counselling with mindfulness practices and Buddhist psychology and I specialise in working with bereavement, depression, anxiety, stress, anger, trauma, addiction and relationships. We are defined by our relationships, especially by the relationship we have with ourselves. I also supervise qualified counsellors and students as well as supporting practitioners who are working towards accreditation or an academic qualification.
Research has shown that online counselling is just as effective as face-to-face therapy and for many people there are distinct advantages because it gives access counselling that would otherwise be unavailable and removes the stigma of physically attending a counselling session. Also there is no need to make other arrangements (e.g. childcare, travel, etc.)
