I support children, young people and their families to who are experiencing emotional difficulties that may be related to trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, identity, eating difficutlies, coping with health issues and challenges engaging in education.
I start my work by providing a consultation, if we agree to work together, we will start with four assessment sessions to develop insight into your circumstances. After this, I could offer short term (up to 20 sessions) or long term work, which is open ended. By building a trusting relationship we will work together towards reaching your goals.
I am a child, young people and family psychodynamic psychotherapist and use both psychodynamic and systemic approaches in my work. I have experience of working with children and families in schools, the local authority setting as well as in the NHS. I offer clients a safe space to explore their challenges and find healthier ways to cope.
