I am a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychotherapist.
I trained as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist at the Tavistock Centre. I work in the NHS (CAMHS) and in private practice where I see young people presenting with a variety of difficulties such anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, relationships difficulties, intrusive thoughts and compulsive addictive behaviours. I work with adults who struggle to make emotional connections and parents who face challenges with their biological, adoptive or foster children.
My therapeutic approach is straight forward, compassionate and thoughtful.
I will offer you a preliminary discussion so we can begin to understand the nature, complexity and chronicity of your difficulties. This may be followed up by a period of assessment focussing on formulating the needs and the nature of our work together.
