Hi, I'm Angelica. I'm a Senior Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years of experience working within the NHS, and 15 years experience working across the charitable and university sector. I am experienced in both working with adults and young people and specialise in working with anxiety and depression. I prioritise creating a warm, open, compassionate and comfortable space in therapy. Therapy can deepen your understanding of yourself and help you to find ways out of negative cycles. You might seek therapy at a time of change, feeling 'stuck', having a specific mental health concern, or just wanting to learn more about yourself.
As a Psychologist, I am trained in a number of different approaches, including CBT, ACT, narrative and psychodynamic. I have worked with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotion regulation difficulties, relationship difficulties, loss and change, health difficulties, post-natal difficulties and trauma.
I typically take an integrative approach to therapy and tailor my approach based on the individual needs and preferences of my clients. I will work with you to explore what kind of approach suits you best. I can work with you short or longer term. I can also work with you in depth using one specific approach such as a course of CBT or ACT.
