Hi, my name is Angie, I am a qualified, registered and integrative counsellor. As an integrative counsellor I can use flexibility and adaptation to allow us to work together on your unique journey in therapy. in our ever-evolving world we can often feel uncertain, anxious, unmotivated, or stuck. Exploring these feelings can help in regaining insight, possibility and hope. I am experienced in working with anxiety, stress, trauma, relationships, and facilitate a bereavement support group for a local counselling service.
I am a specialist in addiction counselling, completing my foundation degree with the University of Bath in partnership with the organisation "action on addiction". I use CBT and motivational interviewing in my integrative approaches to issues including drugs, alcohol, gambling, shopping, exercise.
Therapy allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings, to find your own answers, and reach your desired outcomes for life. To be open and honest about fears anxieties, hopes and dreams, you need the right environment. I offer a confidential, safe, supported and nurturing space with a nonjudgemental approach.
