I offer one to one counselling sessions in Coggeshall to individuals over the age of 17 years. In a confidential space, where I will encourage you to talk about whatever is troubling you, together we will work through it, whatever it is. We can work on bringing about lasting change, so you can get on with your life. I have been in private practice since 2008, worked for 6 years within an NHS contract offering NICE approved Counselling for Depression, and 4 years as a counselling service manager. I have extensive knowledge and understanding of the complex nature of mental health.
I use predominantly a Person-Centred model of counselling & psychotherapy, tailoring the sessions, according to your needs, bringing in other techniques such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and creative therapy when they will be useful. I provide both short and long term counselling, working with a broad range of people with wide variety of issues.
