Hi, my name is Aneta. I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor.
I have substantial experience and training in supporting people who have experienced trauma, particularly connected to sexual, emotional and physical abuse. My approach is based on a three-stage recovery model: restoring safety, processing traumatising events and integration/ taking control over your life. There is a strong emphasis on stabilisation and nervous system regulation; I use a range of tools to support clients with complex trauma and PTSD.
I feel passionate about supporting people in exploring their neurodivergence and how it manifests in their lives. I have worked with many clients who have been diagnosed with ADHD and ASD as adults or who are considering pursuing diagnosis. I facilitate culturally sensitive therapy with an understanding of issues related to diversity and identity.
I would like to help you to understand what might be holding you back, connect with your inner self and find peace regardless of your life circumstances. I believe that psychological well-being does not mean perfection and getting rid of problems but is rooted in awareness and developing tools to cope with life’s challenges.
