I work mainly with primary school-aged children, as well as others who feel more comfortable expressing themselves through play and creative activities. Using toys, games, sensory resources, and art materials, I facilitate children in exploring and communicating thoughts and feelings that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.
For children, play is often a natural way of communicating and making sense of their experiences. I provide a safe, caring, and non-judgemental space where children can feel heard, understood, and supported as they build confidence, emotional understanding and healthier ways of coping.
To allow enough time for trust and therapeutic progress to develop a minimum of 12 sessions is recommend, with review meetings taking place after the first 6 sessions to reflect on progress and ongoing needs.
