Hi, my name is Andy and I am a trauma-focussed Therapist. I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist and I am trained to use REWIND, a single session therapeutic technique used to help overcome trauma and PTSD.
I work mainly with trauma and grief and I try to help clients gain a better self understanding referring to the cycles of grief and stages of trauma. I offer clients the space to feel safe in their emotions. I also work with the traumatic aspect of loss and help clients to understand the effects of trauma and how trauma can be overcome.
I currently work with a sudden loss charity and I also work with emergency responders.
Within our sessions, we can talk about the struggles you have faced and help you to understand what has led you to counselling. We will work at your pace throughout the sessions and there will be absolutely no pressure from me, this is your time and you may use this time to talk and explore whatever comes to mind.
I offer a free telephone consultation before arranging a first counselling session and this is so you are able to give me an overview of what has led you to counselling. The call is also a chance for you to be able to speak me, ask any questions you may have and ensure you feel comfortable working with me before we begin our sessions together.
