I want to offer you some encouragement as you scroll through this site looking for a counsellor - it is not easy to do when you're experiencing all sorts of complicated thoughts and emotions. You're here though. You're already doing something to help yourself, and my hope is that you'll find the support you need either with myself or another counsellor. I am qualified and experienced in holding and responding to complex experiences and emotions. However, equally important to the training and experience of a counsellor is how you feel in their presence.
Accessing comfort or trust with something like this is not an immediate thing, and may take some time. I recognise that starting counselling in the midst of that discomfort can be nerve-racking, which is why I offer a free 30-minute video call where we can talk, you can ask any questions that you have, or we can at least just break the ice.
There are no expectations with the counselling I offer. Just come as you are, let me see the world and your life from your perspective, and together we will work through the things that feel important to you. If you want, have a look at my website www.unconditionalcounselling.co.uk to read a bit more about me and what sessions with me are like.
