About
My name is Andreia-Marisa Carvalho and I am a Clinical Psychologist with the objective of facilite the way where you can find your own resources to enhance your personal development because like a human being you have the ability to be resilient and obtain the changes in your behaviour. The therapy will be mainly focused on the clinical approach where your individuality and integrity are protected. You can benefit from the therapy in different issues such as parenting, maternity, child and adolescent behaviour, older adults, racial identity and migratory bereavement.
The professional training that I have obtained to help you is related to a Master in Clinical Neuropsychology and Specialization in Group Dynamics. Currently, to continue learning and expanding knowledge in children and adolescents, I am studying a Master in Childhood and Youth.
I am here to guide you in a safe and confidential space, with deep respect and without judgment of your personal experiences, while I am available to listen to your thoughts and emotions, with empathy, congruence and unconditional consideration of your person, to then apply the appropriate strategies to help you face complicated situations.
