I am counsellor, and psychologist with extensive experience, holding a Master’s degree in Psychology and Family Studies, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and further postgraduate training in Psychotherapy.
My approach is integrative, drawing from different therapeutic models to suit each client’s needs. I focus on addressing the roots of difficulties, rather than offering quick fixes, and I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process. I will guide and support you, while encouraging you to play an active role in gaining insight and creating meaningful change.
I have experience helping clients with childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship and family issues, parenting challenges, loss of purpose, and midlife transitions. I also have extended training in grief and bereavement and am currently researching complex grief, giving me specialist insight in this area.
Influenced by psychodynamic methods and attachment theory I help clients explore how past experiences shape present struggles, to build healthier relationships and new ways of coping. I employ a person-centred approach to keep you at the heart of the process, ensuring that therapy is supportive, respectful, and tailored to your specific goals.
