I’m Andrea, a counsellor based in Guildford and Camberley. Before qualifying as a counsellor I worked in Employee Wellbeing supporting colleagues for over 17 years. I helped those experiencing problems such as poor mental health, burnout, relationship breakdowns and ill-health. I find the counselling relationship is like no other. It offers a safe and non-judgmental space to explore thoughts and feelings without fear of criticism or misunderstanding whilst valuing your individual experiences. I believe a therapeutic relationship that is based on trust, respect, and openness will facilitate change.

I offer safe and supportive environment to process your experiences and heal. I offer both short-term (6-12 sessions) and long-term counselling. Short term counselling is often focused on a particular issue/topic where long-term counselling will allow us to explore issues, experiences, thoughts and feelings in more depth, when you feel ready to do so.

I offer a free, no obligation, initial 20-minute consultation session over the telephone to explore your hopes and expectations from counselling and me as a counsellor. I can also share more about my practice and how I can support you.
