A warm welcome. My name is Andi and I am a psychotherapist with over 20 years experience in counselling and psychotherapy across the Brighton area. We all sometimes feel a bit broken or stuck and often can adopt unhelpful strategies to cope with difficult emotions. You may be in the midst of a current crisis or perhaps trying to make sense of something in the past which is impacting you now. I have worked with a wide range of difficulties and have most experience in working with anxiety, depression and chronic illness. I also work with parents and children who are estranged from each other
I worked in the NHS for 8 years as a Senior Psychological Therapist looking after patients with a diagnosis of cancer which frequently involved a change in their appearance. Im trained in a broad range of treatment approaches including CBT. Dependent on your needs I have the experience to adapt the therapeutic approach to give you the best outcome.
Accessing counselling and finding the right therapist can seem like a daunting process and I understand that it is normal to feel anxious about starting the process.
