Hi, I am Maria and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (MBACP) and Person-Centred Counsellor with over 10 years experience of working within mental health. I work with adults from the age of 18 years old. I know that seeking counselling can be a daunting process, however, I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where we can explore any issues that could be preventing you from living a more fulfilling life. My years of training and experience in becoming a counsellor have taught me that each client is unique with their own perspective and understanding of the problem and their recovery.
I have worked for a organistion offering counselling in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, & diversity difficulties. I offer open-ended or short-term support. Either online or telephone sessions. Working on the platform that you feel comfortable with.
You may not always know what you want from this process and that might be something you discover during our work together, for you to be heard and understood. I believe a therapeutic relationship can be a powerful tool for change and alongside this, I offer a variety of interventions that you can use and adapt to suit your needs.
