I specialise in the treatment of BPD. Clients who have achieved a level of stability and who are seeking to move from a sense of incompleteness toward experiencing sustained joy and a sense of purpose.
Typically, once the ability to regulate oneself has been achieved consistently, a longer term sense of emptiness, lack of purpose and lack of sense of self persists. This is a new level of healing that requires a focus on meaning and direction, and a reconnection to a higher sense of purpose that is unique. Clients who are seeking to connect with who they were “supposed to be” beyond the life events that they endured and survived.
I specialise in the delivery of DBT having been trained by the developer Marsha Linehan in Seattle.
I have developed expert knowledge in the treatment of BPD over the previous 13 years of practice. With specific focus on moving from skill-building to cultivating a deeper sense of self, purpose, and fulfillment.
Often a more deep development of sense of self and meaning relatively goes unaddressed once stability has been achieved. I have worked with clients across the whole spectrum of BPD, from emerging symptoms in adolescence, well into mature adulthood. The search for meaning and purpose remains relevant regardless of life stage.
