As a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist I am dedicated to understanding the complex emotional lives of infants, children, young people, families and carers in depth. This is a psychoanalytic approach which seeks to look beneath the surface of problematic emotions, behaviours or relationships and to help children and adolescents, and their families, to understand themselves and their difficulties, and with that increase / enhance emotional resilience.
I work across a wide age range: from infancy, through childhood and adolescence, into early adult life treating a full range of emotional difficulties and mental health concerns. I carry out in depth state of mind assessments as well as family work, both long term and intense individual work, short term psychotherapy
