Hi, I'm Antigone, a registered EMDR and Creative Arts Therapist with over 10 years experience working across community settings, prisons, specialist education / mainstream schools, NHS services and in the charity sector, in the UK and Greece.
Founded in a blend of EMDR and creative psychotherapy, whilst drawing on a range of therapeutic philosophies, I have developed a unique approach to psychotherapy focused on radical and accessible therapy through an anti-colonial, queer conscious, and social justice focused lens.
My work is person focused and trauma informed meaning interventions are guided by the client and tailored to the specific needs of the individual, or group. My methods encourage retuning of neural pathways, establishing healthier thought patterns and a more autonomous relationship with the way we relate to ourselves and the world around us.
Each of us is unique so will benefit from a different direction, shape and form to our therapeutic journey. I therefore work with you to decide the extent to which sessions are focused on talking, creative explorations, and/or other practices. I offer private therapy online and from my practice in South East London, with sliding costs for accessibility.
