My name is Amy Woolston, I have been working as a qualified Clinical Psychologist since 2007. I am one of the lead psychologists in The Koala Tree CIC.
I work with adults who facing their own particular psychological or emotional challenges, including low mood, anxiety, trauma and more.
I specialise in working with parents in the early stages of parenthood. This is a time of significant change and can be a psychologically challenging. I work with antenatal and postnatal depression and anxiety, bonding difficulties, birth trauma and parental OCD.
I draw on attachment theory, compassion focussed therapy, cognitive-behaviour therapy and systemic theory. I am trained in EMDR. I have a particular interest in our early relationships and believe that understanding these can help people to move forward. I work with clients as individuals, collaboratively and at their own pace.
