I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years of experience working in the NHS and in private practice across a wide range of settings. I am passionate about working through difficulty and adversity with people and know that pain and suffering is experienced by so many of us at times. A large amount of my experience has been in helping young people and adults to process and make sense of their own emotions or reactions and helping them to move towards a life rich in value and meaning whilst managing some of the barriers which have emerged along the way.
In addition to the extensive training I have had during my doctorate, I have also had further training and experience in working with therapies including Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy and Compassion Focussed Therapy. I am keen to help people out of the traps and stuckness they can find themselves in and towards a valued life.
