About

Hello and welcome. I am Amy Whittle, a qualified and registered counsellor with the BACP working in East Lancashire, Blackburn with Darwen and West Yorkshire. I work with individuals, couples, children and young people. One area of interest is working with people with a diagnosis or traits of Autism, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD), Asperger Syndrome (AS) and Neuro-diversity, Including family members. My approach is sensitive, non judgemental and creative. I have a background in therapeutic arts & play skills, I’m happy to use creative tools to help you express what you need to form a therapeutic relationship.
During your first session, this is often an opportunity to talk about your reasons for coming to counselling. We will also use this time to see if counselling is the right place for you and also if I am the right counsellor too. Offering Face-to-Face, Telephone and Videolinking (Zoom & other platforms)
