I offer integrative humanistic counselling for adults and young people (11 and upwards) both online and in person.
What we talk about is up to you. Without judgement, I will listen and support you in the process of deepening your own self-awareness, whilst at the same time offering warmth, understanding and sensitive challenges. I will respect the importance of going at your pace and in the direction that you choose.
My approach is gender and neuro-affirming; I work with those who identify as LGBTQIA+ and those still exploring. I adapt the space and my approach to suit the sensory experience of my clients.
The integrative counselling I offer is grounded in the humanistic approaches of Person Centered, Gestalt, and Transaction Analysis. I also draw from CBT and mindfulness, combining these techniques to tailor a way of working that meets the needs of each individual.
I invite clients to be curious about their thoughts, feelings and behaviours towards themselves, others and their wider world. I will offer techniques to help manage anxiety, whilst providing a safe environment to look deeper into the experience and causes of current blocks, emotional pain and distress.
