I’m a HCPC-registered Chartered Counselling Psychologist & EMDR therapist providing talking therapy for adults. I specialise in helping people who have had traumatic experiences, but I can also help with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, perinatal mental health, and neurodivergences ADHD and ASD. I take a neuro-affirmative approach as I understand the wide diversity of ways that the brain is made up and ways people interact. I provide a safe, confidential space and help you to make sense of your experiences and find workable, sustainable ways to move forward. My aim is to help you create meaningful change in your life.
As a psychologist, I have been trained to do more than just listen. My aim is to help you get to the root of your difficulties and work actively to support you to create lasting change. I naturally adopt a relational, compassionate approach integrating ideas of evidence-based therapies CFT, ACT, EMDR, and IFS, along with attachment research.
This variety of approaches allows me to work creatively and flexibly, weaving together the best fit for each individual. I'm also human just like you and I’ve sat both sides of the couch.
