Life is a beautiful challenge. We all face adversity in life, whether this manifests as mental or physical illness, trauma, or difficulty coping with day to day experiences. Therapy is not just about treatment or addressing mental illness, it is a tool that we can all use to develop a better understanding of ourselves and our individual lived experience, and to reconnect with the joy in our lives. Therapy can help us identify thinking and behaviour patterns, address past and present traumas, cope with everyday fears and anxieties, and learn ways to better relate to and understand ourselves, our environments, and other people.
I believe the goal of therapy is to improve lived experience and help us to feel safe, confident, and content in mind and body. As a Forensic Psychologist, I have extensive experience working with adults and young people in private and public sectors in the UK and Pakistan using a variety of evidence based therapeutic and supervision models.
No problem is too big or too small, it is simply a difference of time and technique needed to address individual needs. I offer individually tailored therapy and supervision to address your needs, and I aim to provide a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where we can address difficulties and problem solve together to achieve the best outcome.
