I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and have experience working in a number of organisations and charities providing psychotherapy and counselling in areas such as: Bereavement, Domestic Abuse, Emotional Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Stress and Anxiety, Depression, Divorce, Relationship issues, Childhood Trauma, Cultural Diversity, Racial Identity.
Being a British-born Asian female I can understand some of the challenges that people from different cultural backgrounds may experience in their daily lives and relationships. I am a culturally sensitive therapist which means I respect differences in cultural attitudes and like to have a good understanding of my client's background and beliefs.
