I specialise in working with Children, Teenagers and Young Adults. Children might be experiencing anxiety, low mood, emotional outbursts, difficulties with friendships, the impact of trauma, or simply finding life overwhelming. My aim is to provide a nurturing, safe and welcoming space where they can feel seen, understood and relaxed and soon as they enter the room. I work collaboratively with you as their parents to think about your child. I am a HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist with extensive experience working with children, teenagers, adults and families across schools, local authority services, and private practice.
I use creative resources and techniques to support clients to engage, this makes working on their personal challenges such as anxiety, low mood, depression, anger, lack of focus, poor self image more accessible. Having access to art materials and sensory experiences can really support clients to engage without feeling overwhelmed.
It can feel hard to ask for support, I hope my warm, friendly & down to earth personality puts you at ease. I work on a weekly basis, working together with you to build lasting change. I take time to look at the whole picture to see where I can help your family to thrive again. Sessions are an investment and something I hope stays with you long afterwards
