I understand how difficult even contemplating seeking a counsellor or psychotherapist can be, to seek someone you trust, who will not judge you, and at the same time help you feel heard and understood. It is my job to help you feel safe and secure in therapy and I do this by being open about how I work, to hold the space for you so that you can bring your difficulties to counselling, and listening to what you want to achieve. I am here to listen with empathy, It is important that you receive the therapy that is right for you; everyone is an individual with their own individual needs.
I use an integrative way of working which means I use many different therapeutic skills, theoretical models, and experience. This gives me a broader way of working. I specialise in stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma (specifically childhood trauma including PTSD & Complex PTSD). I also specialise in bereavement and loss counselling.
It can be very daunting to reach out for the first time, however I will do my best to help you feel more comfortable. I will support you in the best way possible.
