M Scott Peck wrote in the "Road Less Travelled" ... "Life is difficult". We all have times when we get stuck, we're overwhelmed, not sure where to turn and loose sleep. During these periods, we need some help, some me time with someone who is going to listen, not judge and offer them the support they need, in order to develop insights into "why this is happening" and to help them find the solutions to make a change, to get to a happier place.
I trained in Transactional Analysis (TA) which is a social psychology that looks at a person's personality, communication style and their relationships, how these have been shaped by their experiences. I collaborate with clients to identify what is currently going wrong and why. We can then work towards solutions for personal growth.
Noticing something isn't right and asking for help is a big step. It can make someone feel vulnerable and the fear of being judged can stop us from asking for the help we need. The beauty of TA is that one of it's primary principles is that everyone is "OK". We hold everyone with unconditional positive regard so you can leave any fear at the door.
