I have 40 years of experience working with a diverse client base. I trained initially with the Samaritans of Singapore before returning to the Uk to train with Relate as a couple counsellor, subsequently training as a psychosexual therapist. I have worked for the NHS in large GP practice, and in private practice. Although my speciality is psychosexual I am able to help individuals and couples struggling with different emotional and psychological problems. However, as a Sexual and Relationship Therapist, I am able to put clients at their ease, to enable them to explore their sexual anxieties, to make any necessary changes.
Some times people are unable to see a way forward. I support the client/clients in the therapy session to make the changes which bring relief to their present situation. Over many years of working as a counsellor/therapist I have learnt to adapt to the person's needs. This may mean short term involvement, or longer should this be appropriate.
