Hi I'm Aman. Welcome to my page. I understand it can take immense courage to engage in therapy to confront emotional pain and distress. I know it is common to avoid anxiety provoking situations to stop those painful feelings from arising. However, this can be adverse for you in the long term. I offer Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy which will give you the opportunity to identify and challenge negative patterns of thoughts and behaviours. I can enable you to learn new strategies so you manage your distress and life situations better.
I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner and I work with children and adults experiencing a range of conditions and emotional disorders, including depression, anxiety, self harm and low self esteem. The aim of CBP is to assess your needs and formulate a plan to understand and challenge specific thoughts and behaviours.
I will offer you a safe, non judgemental and confidential space to enable you to feel comfortable and honestly share your thoughts and feelings. I strive to work collaboratively and will provide you with tools, strategies and tasks to complete in between sessions. I am open to honest feedback at all points to ensure you feel your needs are being met.
